The story of how Thrasher took the name “Thrasher” goes that a visiting American skater had seen him ripping up the streets of his
hometown and in a Californian accent said: “dude you rip! From now on you’ll be known as Thrasher!” And so it was. When Thrasher is not out killing skateboard spots and filming for new videos, he finds time to run his own skateboard shop in downtown Shenzhen. And of recent, Thrasher spends time drawing and developing his own design skills. Look out for future skate graphics and other forms of visual art from China’s first true skate artist.
