About Our Hainan Island Surf Camp and Treasure Island Surf Camp

Learn to surf with internationally qualified and experienced surf instructors on Hainan Island and Lantau Island in Hong Kong, this along with our safe and easy to use Quik/Roxy surf boards you will be feeling the STOKE of surfing in no time! Located on Hou Hai Beach in the city of Sanya, the Quiksilver/Roxy Surf School, in connection with Hainan Outdoor Adventures, is an ideal location to start surfing with its un-crowded surf breaks, sandy bottom beaches and gentle waves. Pui O Beach on Lantau Island is a perfect 2km beach to safely learn to surf whether you are a child, young adult, or parent.  In the summer months there is a southwest wind producing consistent gentle waves on a shallow beach.  Hook up with Quiksilver and Treasure Island Surf Camp for a real surf adventure!

What to Expect

International instructors with CPR and First Aid certificates

Quality instruction at an international Quiksilver/Roxy standard

Surfing etiquette, culture, awareness, training and techniques

Ocean awareness such as info on waves, tides and marine biology

What to Bring

Boardshorts or swimsuit, a towel and lots of sunscreen

Wetsuits and surfboards are provided by the surf school


Who Can Join in the Fun

Quiksilver and Roxy Surf Camps bring to Hong Kong and Hainan Island an international team of surf instructors and leaders from New Zealand, the USA, and China who present a well rounded package of land and water based activities.  The Quiksilver Treasure Island Surf Camp and Hainan Surf Camp offer one instructor for every three students in the youngest age group of 5 – 7 year olds.  Introduce your kids or yourself to the quality of a Quiksilver surf education, and experience the vibe of the surfing lifestyle!
